The sandals are beautiful and fit well overall. Having ordered from this company before, I ordered a half to one size up because I find the sandals run a little small. I am a true size 8, but ordered 8.5-9.0. I am, however, disappointed with the material used for the sandal strap. The strap is very stiff and hard instead of soft and smooth and does not conform to the back of the heel. It appears as if it were laminated. With every step, the strap rubbed against my achilles tendon. As much as I like the sandal, I have to return it for a refund.

I had to return due to the heel strap. It was too uncomfortable. Beautiful shoe and the foot bed was so comfortable but the heel strap kills. I wish it would have been a softer leather on the inside of the strap but it was the patent leather.

The sizing of the sandals has become hard to gage/ I have several pair in 40 but this past year the 40’s were too big- so I got a 39. Yes! They changed some manufacturers- it’s hard to tell with the black patent. I’m not sure what’s going to fit- narrow and tight in 39
